The Hunting Museum of the Croatian Hunting Association is committed to curating, systemizing, conserving, and presenting the esteemed heritage of Croatian hunters.
The presentation of a segment of the natural history heritage related to the fauna of our regions contributes to promoting an understanding of the importance of conserving and improving our country's natural resources. It also assists in fostering a deeper understanding and recognition of the vital role of Croatian hunters in preserving biodiversity.
The Hunting Museum's role encompasses instructive, educational, and priority tasks aimed at fostering knowledge and shaping attitudes toward preserving fauna and nature. These tasks are integral to the museum's work program, which prioritises the encouragement of understanding and appreciation for wildlife conservation and the environment.
The museum attracts diverse visitors, including children from kindergartens, students from primary and secondary schools, hunters, novice hunters, citizens, and local and foreign tourists. Additionally, it garners attention from nature enthusiasts seeking to explore a part of the preserved Croatian national hunting culture. This tradition has been formally recognized and listed in the Republic of Croatia's Register of Cultural Properties.
