During the recently concluded 16th European Championship in hunting archery, conducted in accordance with FITASC (European Championship Combined Game Shooting) regulations from July 5 to 7 in Lithuania, Mario Genzić, a member of the Croatian Hunting Federation, achieved third place in the shooting of flying targets.
Genzić achieved third place in a competition featuring 177 male and female participants from 13 different countries. The top three competitors attained an equal number of points (388). In such instances, the ranking was determined based on the second hunt parkour, followed by the first hunt parkour, then the second trap, and finally the first trap. Mario secured the third position in this scenario, and we extend our congratulations to him!
During the FITASC competition, Croatia and the Croatian Hunting Federation achieved their first medal, marking a historic milestone in the European Championship. The national team, comprised of six shooters—Stipe Šabić, Ante Matak, Mario Genzić, Ivica Pleša, Josip Milković, and Miljenko Kos—was carefully selected by Nevenko Jakopović, the vice-president of HLS.
