The 27th consecutive International Nature, Hunting, Fishing, and Tourism Fair commenced on Friday at the City Sports Hall in Varaždin. Over 80 exhibitors from Croatia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Hungary, and Slovakia showcased their products and innovations to all attendees at the opening ceremony. Renata Ojurović, the Director of the Directorate of Forestry, Hunting, and Wood Industry in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, spoke on behalf of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Josip Dabra. The event was graced by the presence of a delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Bulgaria, the Prefect of Varaždin County Anđelko Stričak, the President of the City Council of the City of Varaždin Lovro Lukavečki, the President of the Croatian Sports Fishing Association Vladimir Sever, Darko Koren, the Prefect of the Koprivnica-Križevac County, and the members of the Executive Board of the Croatian Hunting Federation. Additionally, Goran Kaniški, the President of the Hunting Federation of Varaždin County, extended greetings on behalf of the President of the Croatian Hunting Federation, Ivica Budor. Notably, the Varaždin County Hunting Federation, under the leadership of President Goran Kaniški, recognized outstanding hunters and shooters with medals and cups, as well as honoured individuals for their long-term membership and loyalty. The fair, spanning three days, offers a diverse and engaging program.
