The renowned mixed hunting choir "Matko Laginja" of Klana celebrated its 45th anniversary on July 13th with a grand concert. The event was graced by distinguished guests including the President of the Croatian Hunting Association, Ivica Budor, HLS Secretary Hrvoje Kukas, and the President of the Hunting Association of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Josip Malnar. The Mayor of the Klana municipality, Željka Šarčević Grgić, also delivered a well-received address. Led by the longest-serving conductor, Nedjeljka Srebovt, the ensemble has performed in over 400 concerts across Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Austria, and various other European countries. They have actively participated in nearly all hunting hornbill meetings in Croatia and have twice hosted the event. In recognition of their 45 years of dedicated service, the Croatian Hunting Association awarded them a prestigious honour.
