Announcement: International Wild Boar Symposium

An international scientific symposium dedicated to wild boar is scheduled to take place in the fall of next year. According to the announcement issued by the organizers, the symposium is open to researchers, experts, managers, and professionals whose work pertains to wild boars and other pig species. This event represents an exceptional opportunity for the exchange of knowledge, fostering collaboration, and acquiring new insights into the ecology and management of these species. Key topics of discussion will include, but are not limited to, African swine fever and associated diseases, biology and genetics, ecology, human-wildlife interactions, and species management policies. The symposium will be conducted from September 9 to September 11, 2026, at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb.
