On the eve of the fourth Rika Fest in Delnice

The fourth annual Rika Fest event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at King Tomislav Park in Delnice. The event will commence at 10:00 a.m.

The primary agenda of the program includes the following events:

• The 3rd National Championship in Deer Roar Imitation, commencing at 10:00 a.m.
• A cooking competition focused on hunting kettles 
• A horn-playing competition
• A showcase of hunting dogs 
• The announcement of winners, scheduled to occur at 5:00 p.m.
• An entertainment program, which will begin at 8:00 p.m.

This year, 16 hunters will compete in the 3rd National Championship for Deer Roar Imitation. The judging panel includes Tihomir Tondini (Hunting Society "Kamenjarka," Kukuljanovo-Škrljevo), Dejan Švob (Hunting Society "Srnjak," Fužine – Lokve), Zdenko Čop (Hunting Society "Tetrijeb," Gerovo), Krešimir Janeš (Hunting Society "Tetrijeb," Čabar), and Branimir Stankić (Croatian Hunting Association). The jury will consist of Dr. sc. Boris Miklić (Hunting Society "Medviđak," Drivenik), Mladen Mauhar (Hunting Society "Vidra," Turke), and Miroslava Jauk (Hunting Society "Divokoza," Brod na Kupi). 

In the customary framework of this event, a cooking competition focused on hunting goulash will be conducted, featuring participation from a total of 41 teams this year.

The Croatian Hunting Association's horn player choir will enhance the event with their performance, fostering a connection among enthusiasts of hunting music and culture. A total of 35 dogs will be showcased during the hunting dog exhibition, subsequent to which the winners will be announced, accompanied by a diverse evening program aimed at providing entertainment.

An essential component of Rika Fest is the participation of emerging talents, alongside esteemed guests and numerous enthusiasts of hunting traditions and the natural world. It is this diverse assembly that contributes to the event's growing interest and attendance, a trend that has been consistently observed each year.
